Isabel Goller is a harpist from Brixen in South Tyrol. She started playing the harp at the age of nine and has since enjoyed national and international success.
Already at the age of 14, she was accepted into the young students programme of Prof. Helga Storck at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
This was followed by a Bachelor's degree at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Sarah O'brien, which Isabel completed with distinction. In July 2017, Isabel completed her master's degree in "specialized performance - orchestra".
During her studies, she was accepted by various international youth orchestras. She spent her summers at the International Orchestra Academy of the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival (2013 & 2014), at the Aspen Music Festival in the USA (2015) and on the European tours of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra (2016 & 2018).
From 2016 - 2018, Isabel was a member of the Giuseppe Sinopoli Academy of the Saxon State Orchestra in Dresden. There she gained formative musical experiences with one of the best orchestras in the world and discovered her love of opera.
As an experience orchestral musician, Isabel is frequently invited to work with numerous professional orchestras, such like the Vienna Philharmonics, Klagforum Wien, Philharmonia Zurich, Staatsoperette Dresden, Oper Chemnitz, Musikkollegium Winterthur, and many more.
She has also been successful as a soloist at various competitions. In 2009, she was a finalist at the international harp competition in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2014, she won a 4th prize at the "international Soka harp competition" in Japan and a 1st prize at the international harp competition of the Harp Academy "Assia Cunnego" in Germany.
Isabel is a scholarship holder at the Benno-Kittl-Stiftung, the Lyra Stiftung, the Fritz Gerber Stiftung and the Kulturförderung des Landes Südtirols.
